An Overview of Dr. Kehle-Forbes's Credentials

Dr. Kehle-Forbes is a licensed clinical psychologist with nationally-recognized expertise in the treatment of PTSD using talk therapy, including Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE). She has been using PE in clinical practice and research to treat clients with PTSD for over 15 years. Dr. Kehle-Forbes is certified as a PE Therapist and PE Consultant by the Center for the Treatment & Study of Anxiety at the University of Pennsylvania. She has experience treating adults with  PTSD resulting from a range of trauma types including sexual and physical assault, combat, accidents, medical trauma, and childhood abuse.

 

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Kehle-Forbes is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Minnesota and a Research Psychologist with the Department of Veterans Affairs. She has published over 65 peer-reviewed papers and has received numerous federal grants to study the treatment of PTSD.​
